People: Just me

Duration:15 pm to 18 pm

Tide:rising and "lowing??"

Weather:wonderful

Bait:rags and mackerel cocktail

Rigs:2 hooks and 3 hooks flapper

Results:11 pounting(I think), one pollack (around 2 pound) and broke on three big fish

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:No time to fish with two rods, it was literally bite after bite

Ah, just need a precision, is this a pounting???? I'm sure for 90% but I would like to be sure at 100%.....
2010: starry smoothound, common smoothound, bass, flounder, dogfish, scorpion fish, tub gunard, tope, thornback ray, bull huss, coalfish, pollack, mackerel, turbot, whiting...

2011: flounder, dab, 5 bearded rockling, whiting, dogfish, codling, starry smoothound, common smoothound, bass, bull huss ...

2012: dogfish, codling, starry smoothound (PB), bass, common smoothound (PB)...

Yeah thats a pouting all right! I've never fished te East Pier before! How far up did you get the fish?
Not bad fishing for 3 hours either :)

Nice session there. Have seen very few pouting on dun laoghaire east pier.

Thanks for the new words for the tide.... Sorry but my English is not perfect....
Ok, so that was pouting... I made them from 50 meters of the rocks...
And there is a lot of them at the moment...
My brother went this evening and he caught 5 of them, bu he has to stop fishing because rats were stoling the baits... He also caught a nice 2lb16oz wrasse...
