anyone fished porters rock lately,
last time i tried to get access before the summer i was told that the path had been wahed away in astorm and that the caravan park entrance was for residents only.
anyone any info????????????

Hi Paul,
I have been told by a fella in our club who lives in Arklow that the access is off limits to the public.
You need to go through the caravan park and without an "electronic key" for the gate you can't get in.
He did tell me that if a group of responsible anglers were to approach the owner for say a club compo then maybe he would be agreeable.
Otherwise you can park at the entrance to the caravan park and walk from there . . .which I couldnt be bothered doing myself.
