your favourite fishing area

hi guys just a little fun if you could only fish 1 area in your country where would it be ie the shannon ,dingle you get the idea, my ideal area to fish well its not in my country but yours it would have to be dingle its got everything from deep rock marks to the most perfect surf beaches and great guinness :lol: incidently just come back from kilkee about 3wks ago the fishing was very poor to say the least BUT will be back next year :wink:

DUNLAOIGHRE: cod ,pollock,ballan wrasse, goldsinney wrasse, corkwing wrasse, whiting, poor cod, conger, pouting, tompot blennys, mackerel, scad, dogs, dabs, gurnard, flounder, sea scorpion, coalies and launce, are the species available there and im sure theres a few more not mentioned its easy to get too comfortable to fish and ya never blank, the fish arent huge but there reliable, how can ya complain with that.

Anywhere on the North side of the Dingle Peninsula....the views alone are incredible not to mention miles of beach to explore :D

the west and north dingle rock marks. crashing waves, huge wrasse, chance of a double fig pollock. love it

Gotta be the one special mark Dingle we fish every year.

On a good night you can have between 7-10 bass - usually up to 5-6Ib.

It can break your heart though as weed at the venue can make it unfishable but when its clear you are guaranteed a bass.
I dont know many other marks like that.

We have never blanked at it.....!
(One of the 3 of us has had a bass in any session)

Portrush for me..its got good deep water rock marks and some good beaches.....or maybe red bay area now that the rays have shown up and the odd bass....

I went to Kilkee for 2 weeks in june, the fishing was poor then aswell but so was the weather rained everyday.but have had some good conger if kilkee pier on past holidays.
