Duration: 18:00-22:00

Tide: low around 19:30

Weather: too calm no surf

Bait: rag, peeler and various leftovers

Rigs: 3 hook flapper

Results: 3 flounders and a whiting

Report: we didn't catch much; it was a nice evening

was meant to go myself i ended up with a dose and partents came up from wexford and herself ended up in a wee tip so that put an end to me going

I was out on the boat earlier during the day just out from Laytown and again very quiet...........any tips on fishing that beach...am from around there and have fished it a couple of times..seems very hit and miss..pm`s welcome!

Both my flounder were caught on top snood (with a floater) baited with rag tail, tipped with a thin mack strip.

I had a whiteing on a huge rag worm. Pity about the weather but sure thats the luck of the draw!!!
