Culdaff wreck report 28 September 2007

#2 Post by CiaranMcFish »

Fished on the drfit for an hour over the wreck of the carthaginian, which lies about 2-3 miles west of Inishtrahull Island. Took treble strings of 5-6lb pollock on muppets and rubber eels . Caught the odd pouting, gurnard, coalie and lots of large mackerel around the place as well and a few bleufin tuna sighted in the region also. The wreck of the Justica might also be worth a try if you have the opportunity to travel that far out. Good Luck

Thanks ciaran - good to hear things are still productive - weather looking fine and settled so may try the artica. . i've never seen blue fins - that would be a treat.
