People: me and 2 mates

Duration: 6pm to about 12.30am

Tide:hw about 1am

Weather: very nice, mild slightly overcast, with full moon

Bait:rag, crab, razor fish,mackeral, sandeel and squid

Rigs: 3 hook flappers, bomber rig, 2 hook boom scatcher

Results:Marty= nil
Liam=coalie, flounder and a big doggie (70cm)
me= doggie and 2 plaice

Catch and Release::all released except coalie which was deeped hooked

Report:met up with a few mates for a bit of fishing, with it being a big tide and a full moon, it looked like it could be a good session, was i wrong. Anyway it got off to a good start with Liam hooking a coalie first cast, after that it was really slow, Marty left with out getting a bite. we fished one in hope, Liam landed a small flounder close in, didn't look good for me, i started to cast as far as i can using all different bait combo's, still nothing, about half 10 i got a slack line bite and landed a nice doggie, once again it went quiet. Liam got a bite then the line went slack, another doggie but this one was fighting and it was big, measured in at 70cm, looked like Liam was winning 3 to 1. with the wife's birthday on Sunday and Liam going diving in the morning we packed up about half 11, leaving one rod out while we put down the beach bubby and packed away the gear. We wound in and my line felt heavy, it had a double shot of small plaice, 3 all it was a draw. All in all it was a good night even it was slow, the only thing that marred the night is when some young c**ts set fire to the grass and bushes, we managed to put it out with help from a fellow angler using sand, large bottle of water i had in the car and Liam's size 9's.

all my fish took straight rag, not too sure about Liam he was using rag/squid combo
