Crab Tyres

#1 Post by Liamo »

Lads,

Two quick questions...

1) Does it make any difference if the tyres are full of water, mine seem to be holding water after the tide ebbs. I'm still getting crab in them but would it be better if they dried out and would it make them more attractive for crabs?

2) How full of mud/how deeply buried should they be?

Cheers,
Liam

Holding water is actually good. Tyres should be about 50% full of mud. Too much and u cant get your hand in, too little and the crab might not bother to stay in it.
