North Dublin Beach

#1 Post by Al »

People:Myself & Seanibo

Duration:6ish til 9

Tide:From Low onwards

Weather:Cold & Windy, but at least no rain

Bait:Lug

Rigs:3 Hook Flappers

Results:7 Flounder

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:Headed up to find a decent enough surf on the beach with a cold wind! Put out 3 hook flappers for flounder(and hoping for a Bass) into some gullies as they started to fill. we ended up with 7 flounder between us! Two of which were on a rig i lost earlier that had become tangled with Seans! Cheers again for getting it back for me :) Quiet enough night but a few fish caught before we had to head off!

Some pics in my Album page here http://www.sea-angling-ireland.org/bull ... 83&start=0

dont you love it when you get your rig back - but with 2 on - what a bonus

same happened the last day in silverstrand - got steves rig back, mind you it hooked a pile of weed not 2 flounder!

any size to the flounders,
species for 2009 (42)
species for 2010 (27)
species for 2011 (12)
species for 2012 (8)
best advice for catching species is girls dont like fishing and its hard to catch fish when you sell all your gear'
