25 Sept North Dublin beach

#1 Post by KK »

People:Me, Thomas

Duration:7-9Pm

Tide:Incoming

Weather:Dry windy

Bait:Rag

Rigs:2 hook Flapper

Results:1 bass 5-6lb 1 eel

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:Was testing Cortaz's moon Phase theory an with a nice surf running decided ide give it a go. Dug some rag after work and drove down to the beach, conditions were perfect so i bated up and sent a 2 hook flapper in to the surf an on my second cast my line went slack so i reeled in to hit a nice bass about 5-6lb got another bite but missed the fish an got an eel as it got dark. Was a nice session and great to see the bass swim back in the surf.
