People: Just Myself

Duration: 12pm - 4pm

Tide: Low Water 0.4m

Weather: Sunny with strong Offshore wind

Bait: Lures, toby and bass bullet

Rigs:

Results: Nada

Catch and Release:: What's that then?

Report:

Nice sunny day with a strong offshore wind. Lovely Gin Clear water. Not a fish to be seen for miles, not even a lousy mullet! Good few gannets diving in the distance so suspected the bass were preoccupied a bit more offshore.
I know it was mentioned before but for anyone wading out there be careful to leave well before the tide really starts rising, a mixture of oyster beds and gulleys can really limit your journey back in to shore, expecialy if there's a little cloud in the water.
Met a couple of blokes later in the evening who were fishing along the Cunnigar and they didn't get anything either.
Was going to bait fish clonea later in the evening but decided not to bother in the end so headed back to Dublin disappointed.
Still will head back soon though, might bring the boat next time and do a little 'Corrib' style drifting with the fly rod...
