Report[never fished the mark before and was quite suprised by the quality of the wrasse it held, excellent sport on light tackle. alive with mackerel. dogs out fifty yards on sand. some swimmers there but no hassle with them a bit of mutual respect goes a long way, plus a few mackerel for one of the swimmers supper to help keep up relations. nice to be nice  .]:

had a conger set up in the water whilst fishing a second rod, no joy on that rod. gonna hit the tea rooms on the pier sounds most promising for conger, plus a few other fish knocking around to keep me busy while waiting. have plenty of conger bait after today, lol. cheers for the tip. any ideas on rockling. dropped a goby i guess i cant add him to the species as it wasnt landed.

LITTLE BIT EARLY FOR THE ROCKLING I THINK.
but i had a specimen 3 bearded from the same venue in aug 97
try the rough ground on either end of killiney beach if you are looking for 5 bearded rockling still a little early from november on would be my choice of times.
bray harbour can also produce fish from north pier and cast towards killiney.
