Tide:incoming

Weather:dry, calm

Bait:rag, mack, s/eel, squid

Rigs:2 hook flappers

Results:15-20 fish - whiting, pollock, pouting (biggest 1.5 - 2 lbs), poor cod

Catch and Release::yes



Report: had nothing planned so headed to Howth for a few hours, fished off the east pier in close, plenty of small pollock and whiting and quite a few decent sized pouting who put a good bend in my small spinning rod, they wouldint touch the squid or mack but as soon as any rag or sand eel touched the water it was gettin nibbles.. nice night in the end, had a conger bait in close to but it did nothing but feed the crabs
