ULSTER OPEN SHORE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008

The Ulster Open Gold Medal Shore Championships (Senior & Junior ) will be held on SUNDAY 6th JANUARY 2008.
The venue is Benone Beach
Fishing from 12noon - 5pm.
Entries £15-00 Senior £10-00 Junior.

Check - in at Bob's Bar from 9-30am.

The winner will also receive the Joe Mullan Memorial Award ( A specially
commissioned piece of Tyrone Crystal ).

PENN LEAGUE POINTS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS EVENT

What sort of turn out are you expecting ? Seen the beach in may this year looks the business . Whats the likely catch in January and how about baits ?

We expect about 70-80 anglers.
Benone is mainly a flounder beach with some fine turbot possible.

Main baits are rag, mackerel , crab, lug

It is open to all members of IFSA Affiliated Clubs

Does that mean you can't just walk in? Or what about having a relative in the club? I'm not in a club because i'm too young for my father's club. He's in the police service club.
