People:me and tommy

Duration:around 5 hours

Tide:rise and fall

Weather:overcast, pleasant enough

Bait:ragworm

Rigs:sliding float

Results:pollock, coalies and 1 wrasse

Report:yes we were at orlock again! we headed to the usual spot but it was very quiet, only caught 4 small pollock between us and wasted a couple of hours of our morning. decided to try another spot that i have had success at in the past and it was a good move for us. we fished the floats out at distance and set the depth to 20 foot + and had great success. all fish were of a good size also. i took a couple of pics.

Hey rab, Missed you again at Orlock. We fished from low tide for a couple of hours with rag on floats too. had 4 wrasse and 2 pollock between the both of us. Most came in the first hour and i got my first ever wrasse, so i was well chuffed... cheers. Mike

Hi rab,

Good fishing.
Was wondering where you go for the wrasse and if there are many about round here?

plenty of wrasse all round orlock but i've noticed that low tide seems to be the best time to fish for them there. when the tide gets full the pollock and codling seem to go on the feed.
