DUBLIN BASS MARK - 5/9

#1 Post by rapalajoe »

People:Me & Ritchie

Duration:1730-2100 hrs

Tide:Near full

Weather:slightly overcast

Bait:spinner,plug and softies

Rigs:

Results:2 bass,6 pollock,1 coalie,1 garfish and 10 mac

Catch and Release:: Yes,CPR except for the mac

Report:Went down to the place that both of us never fish before, but we suspect its hold bass. From the chat with a few fishos, the advice that we got is "dont fish there, its have a lots of snag, and u will lost a lots of rig"
Its funny that after the session, that the advice is more sounds like"dont fish there, there have a lots of big bass,u will lost a lots of lure"

Was so happy....never had such an exciting session of lure fishing as today even tho i am blank...and all the fish landed by Ritchie....a lots of taker....hit and miss....hit again....strike and snap.....lost lure....cast....and hit....strike....

Got a few top water action....miss hit....2nd cast hit and snap my line....a few second later the lure float back and i can see theres a back spine circling it and gone....got the lure back.....

Ritchie.....got a hit.....one strike and a mighty fight.....untill a few feet from the beach the fish throw out his lure....another cast....another hit and safely CPR....one healthy fat bass.....next cast he got hit again.....a good fight and one more healthy fat bass slightly bigger...arround 3lb er. which i dont bother to take picture of it since i am still blank and in the middle of frenzie....

Decide to try my new lobster softies which i think looks funny and fat that i dont even think that any fish want to eat them....1 cast....2 tap at the end of the line....nothing....2nd cast....another 2 tap....strike.....and the line just peel of my spool unstop.....the things just keep on dashing fast.....try to stop the run by thumbing the spool....and snapp.....got to re spool a new line....

Nice session with a lots of action and varieties of species.....
