Reel Servicing

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

#1 Post by somedose »

Does anyone have a clue where I can get multiplier reels serviced here in Ireland. Preferably in the South East

Cheers

Well I have a 525 Mag Slidy and a Sports Mag. I just don't want the hassle of taking them apart and trying to put them back together- I'd rather leave it to someone who knew what they were doing. Does anyone know of anywhere in the entire ountry that could do it? Surely there must be one......

I did try him. He's helped me out a lot in the past but said he was too busy to do the servicing. I've heard of people sending reels off to England to get them serviced but surely there must be somewhere in the entire country that does it!

that is Somedose alright!!

If they just need to be taken apart and cleaned down with a new lick of grease I'll do it for you, if that's any help. I'm no expert but it's handy enough to do.

I'm in Waterford the weekend give me a shout.

PM'd you my number or get it from James Barry.

Cheers.
