People:others there but only me actually fishing

Duration:3.5hrs

Tide:down 2 up 1.5hrs

Weather:light wind, sunny

Bait:rag, launce, frozen mackerel

Rigs:single clipped and 3 hook flapper

Results:plaice, mackerel, launce, dogfish

Catch and Release:: Yes/No kept 1 launce

Report:Set up on the one part of the beach where for some reason there was a bit of surf (I figured there must be some sort of feature here) 1st cast turned up a nice plaice of about 1lb. Had a few mackerel and launce on the spinning rod, flicked the mackerel off while standing in the water but kept the launce as it was foul hooked. Put a flapper rig on the spinning rod and fished in close which resulted in two dogfish. When the tide turned and started to rise the right to left pull was fierce and heavy weed became a problem so I decided to pack up.
