Smoothie research update

Hi lads,
Just want to say a big thanks to all of you that have sent in the smoothie catch reports so far. There is some really great info in them so many thanks for all the effort. If anyone has any more please send them on to me. The weather hasn't exactly been with us this summer for catching good numbers of smoothies but hopefully september will bring up the numbers.

I managed to get a couple of trips to wales to see what their smoothies were like too. Some absolutely huge ones over there.Both Gethyn Owens in Holyhead and Mike Groves In Penarth run smoothie trips and are well worth the visit. There are some pics up on my web page of the fish we got over there.

Nearly all the fish were double figure and Gethyn had the welsh record aboard his boat this year too. A whopping 25lb 6 oz starry smoothie (see the pic below). There are links to their sites on the gallery page.
