People:myself and eointarmey8

Duration:8.30pm-2am

Tide:droping for few hours then started to rise

Weather:calm,cold after dark!

Bait:mackeral

Rigs:pullys+2 hook flappers

Results:eoin: 5 mackeral, 3 whiting,
:myself: 5 mackeral, 10 whiting

Catch and Release:: Yes/no(kept mack)

Report:went down to the beach, after a few whiting. there were no fish untill 1hr and a half into the session when the mack were within a rod length on the beach! sprat were being washed up on the beach so we put then on the hooks and got some fresh bait! once it got dark the whiting started to feed. got them most casts,got the odd double shot and then i retrieved a small whiting which was bitin in half! so out came the pullys with mack baits but nothing except the odd whiting, will give it another go for the huss another night! overall a enjoyable session!

next time try a whiting as bait... apparently they are good tope baits.. so i cant see why huss and doggies wouldn't go for them..
