whitehead cancer open

people- 80+ ( at a guess!)

time- 7-10pm
tide: incoming
weather: cloudy
bait- rag,lug,mak,sandeel,squid,crab,bread.
rigs- clip down,conger and flappers
results:

adults-
1st- (unsure of name!) a conger of 30inches

2nd- stuart langridge-1 dog of 23inches

3rd- tie between alan nelson and jim donelly (conger of 22in and a dog of22in)

juniors

1st- me!! with a dog of 27 and a half inches :D
2nd-unsure of result
3rd unsure of result :oops:

there were a number of undersize wrasse and pollack caught. also a number of congers were lost while being brought up the slope :evil:
but it was a good night out and the bbq was great! :D and it was all for a great cause! well done the organizers!!! :D

yeah it was a good night and very well organised also.

well done chris and all the rest of the people who won.

No counters for myself. I stayed on after and used up most of the bait I had left. I stayed until 11.15pm. had 2 cheeky doggies at range that fell to that new bluey's baitbox stuff. I thought there would have been some wrasse caught.

not bad compo and for a good cause thought i was getting 2nd but was pipped in the last 5 min by an inch and a half bigger doggy :roll: :lol:
