People: me

Duration:over 3 days at least 2 hrs each day

Tide:falling

Weather:lovely and sunny first 2 days misty the last

Bait:mac sandeel

Rigs:pullys

Results:3 thornies 9 doggies 2 mac

Catch and Release:: Yes/No yes except mac



Report: what a few days caught my first ever thornie a lovely female had no scales with me that day but when i figure out how to put the pics on i will then i caught a male i think around 4 lbs
the sencond day i went out i had a scales and caught a 6 1/2 lbs female

the dogs were huge all around 3lbs mark and i had a mac that was 2 1/2 lbs

i have to go again and the funny thing is i was fishing on the bad side of the island

You fish anywhere near the army firing range??

How was the craic in Dessies?

Been a while since I was down that way. Have to go down soon - one of the nicest spots in the whole country (when the weather plays ball!! :D )

fished priests point at the back of the church didn't really have scoops in dessies drank in the hotel had a lot off laugh couldn't fish the range army were using it for the first 3 days the weather went down hill after that will head down again for new years just booked the gaff hope to do some winter fishing down there

Nice one - last time I was there the hotel was gutted by a fire so had to suffer on in Dessies but I love it there really :D :D
Is that restaurant on far side of island still there ??- some top notch grub in there boy. :lol:
