salthill, slipway 9th august

People:myself, eointarmey8 and frrrrrrrrrancis

Duration:5hrs

Tide:riseing

Weather: south easterly wind, cool

Bait:mackeral

Rigs:2hook flapper+ pullys

Results:myself 1 whiting,
:eoin:1 whiting + 1 strap conger
:frrrrancis: hang sangwiches! lol

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:headed down to the slip at 10.30, mack bashers everywere even though it was dark! :shock: so we didnt stard fishing til after 11! not much at distance, eoin got the conger at distance, that was all.got the two whiting scratching! the fishing has got very poor recently in salthill. hope it picks up!

were the bashers getting many macks?

havent a notion of going near salthill until that crowd move on/ weather breaks!!!

they were catching them untill it got dark, not as many as a few days ago though!
