Bait: surface lures/sandeel

Rigs:

Results:a 5lb. bass and a 1.5lb. trigger fish 8)
seen 8/9 T. fish on the surface of 1 of the rocky outcrops..... immmmn...a while later i foulhooked a sandeel.....they might...used about a c.m. sized peice on 1/0 hook (2 big) flicked/freelined it to were they were showing, had 3 takes before hooking up.. good fight for the size. my first trigger :) 8) :
had 4 strikes on a slider got the 5th. about 5lb. was out yesterday had 5 hits got 2 about 3 and 5 lb. those sliders work well over shallow ground tryed 5/6 other lures and had only 1 lost fish on a toby....

Well done on the trigger fish Art....

Small strips of squid with a stinger rig should work reall y well for them as well. PM me your address and I'll send you down some stingers.

Interesting to see a new area for them. I had always thought that the just ran up the Atlantic coastline. Won't be long before were getting them in Dublin Bay :roll:
