People:me - lots of others around

Duration: 15:00 - 00:00

Tide: hight round 19:00

Weather: glorious

Bait: fresh lug, frozen mack, sandeel

Rigs: lures, 2 flapper, 1 hook pat, pulley

Results: none

Report: got down round three - beach was packed as expected took a position on the rocks on the left - one in close on the sand in front of me one out far as possible

there was damn all surf - so my hopes were fairly low to start

nothing touching the bait what so ever - not even a crab

changed it round to spinning with the tide high on the surface and down deeper - trying anything

trolled the sandeel, mack and lug

no takers

met others coming from further down on the right on the ledges - no joy between baits and spining - 7 others in all - the tide was on the ebb and i moved onto the beach proper round 20:30

neilus and dave(?) appeared on the scene after 9 - had a bit of banter

thought the surf might throw up a flattie in the dusk on the way out

still no bite

the lads headed again round 23:30 - thanks for the mack neilus!

and i left myself after midnight

dont think ill be there again for a very long time!

heard every sort of excuse from the other anglers - too brite, too warm, not winter (if you knew that what are you doing here?) - too weedy, too rocky, too many people, too everything

hi,

that was me, dave, with neilus. Frustrating evening, amazing that there wasn't even a bite between us all night.

Strange spot fanore, sometimes it turns up interesting results and others its jut dead, if was to go bck there it would have to be on the incoming tide.

Good to meet you anyway.
