People: me fein

Duration: 3-9

Tide: high at 5.45pm

Weather: gloriious

Bait: frozen mack, sandeel, herring! fresh lug

Rigs: 1,2 hook flapper, pulley, float

Results:zilch, lots of crab

Catch and Release:: Yes/No

Report: went digging lug for tomorrow - and had a few casts 3-4 on the main beach - tide too far in already - so i left it

round the other side started floating - and banging one out far

crabs were interested nothing else

a few broke the surface didnt see what they were - small

then about 7.45 hit the outlet pipe for a bash at the mullet - chucked in 3 mack to get it going

no bites - they could just tell for some reason!

loads of smaller fish just breaking the surface aswell as the mullet

5-6 pounders swimming and eating but not touching my bait only a few feet away - wiley fish alright

something silver broke the surface and jumped out in an attack on another fish further out - spectacular!

need patience for this mullet lark :?

those mullet have been taunting me for a while now - so i made an effort to hook them - size six hooks etc.

they are well trained on the offal from up on the docks (and the pipe, :?) - took no time to start feeding, 15mins max

as i said no interest in my lump of fish as they downed everything esle on offer!

i think the crabs have won the battle at distance though
