People:just me

Duration:8-10

Tide:full at 9

Weather:calm in certain parts and windy in others

Bait:dexter's wedge

Rigs:

Results:1 pollack about 5lb?

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:went down to sorento terrace first to try for some Pollock but strangely it wasn't producing anything. got one take but that was all. so went down to whiterock only to be greeted by a stiff breeze and a weedy sea, not ideal plugging conditions. anyway i carried on in vain, but was forced to move down the beach. at the tea rooms there was no weed and no wind, weird no? i casted my lure out to a small reef and on the third cast was hit with a nice take. the fish decided to run out to sea. eventually beached him/her (don't want to be sexist) and when i got him in i noticed half its tail had been bitten off, tope. i got a passer by to get a picture but its only on a phone, so excuse its poor quality. any better estimates on the size i forgot my scales.

Nice fish Gazo,well done.
I was down there myself with RapalaJoe and when we got there you were fishing with the nudes,you looked a bit overdressed!!,lucky you moved.
Anyway we set up where Jack was fly fishing and had a few small Pollock between us on various lures and I got a couple of doggies using sandeel on the bottom,also got a small silver type fish like a small herring but bigger than a sprat with a faint blueish line running along its flank,not sure what it was,Joe took a photo so maybe he'll post later.
Anyway well done on the Pollock.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at the office!
