Was there myself last week being from Co Antrim its a long drive ,but for my son it paid off his first b/wrasse and later in the day one of 4lbs. None too many places to fish from, we were on the rocks to right of car park. We fished Backhead later that week ,we tried to find the marks of Greenisle and Ballyreen but failed. We were based in Corrofin ,that fergus river is a bute , we talked to the angler how was in the Irish Anglers Digest last issue having landed a trout of 8lbs cant remember his name he was most helpful. The tench also put up a good acount of them selfs.
You anglers in Co Clare are so blessed .
