People:myself and midget

Duration:me 6hrs, alex 4 hrs

Tidedroping then riseing

Weather:dry for a while then rain!southwesterly wind

Bait:mackeral

Rigs:pullys+2hook flappers

Results:alex: :shock: myself: 1 dogfish, 2 grey gurnards

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:got down at the slipway at about 3pm, we tryed out far for doggies but no luck, tryed for flatties but no luck. after alex left i tryed scratching and got a few fish.

Will agree the last day was poor on normal returns from these 2 beaches.
Been back to the Ballybrannigan venue a few times since and I'm still catching fish there. Went to the Cobh venue once for mullet pulled a 5lb bass of it.

ah well donal we tried our best but to be fair it was pot luck :!: but i will fish those beaches again as the more you fish them the more you learn about the venues :!:

Once came across an auld fella from Dublin fishing the latter spot you're talking about Donal - he had over 1/2 dozen bass ranging from 3lb - 8lb!
