tall story?

#1 Post by kieran »

Hi

Just been told of a kayaker here in Mayo who claims to have kayaked from Louisburgh across Clew Bay to Achill Beag, camped overnight, and then gone, presumably via the sound, up and out to the Inishkea Islands on the Atlantic coast of Belmullet, over a week before coming back.

No idea if he did it solo or with a companion(s) but sounds incredible.

Am I being sold a line of bs?

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks
