Hi guys,
I need a word of advice here (but please do not laugh, I am dead serious). I’m struggling to get a good traveling beachcasting rod that I can fit in the boot of my car (about 1m in diameter). I did check all local tackle shops but none of those that I’ve seen fits in my boot. I guess that the only option available to me is to go online and buy one off the internet. I would be very grateful if you can give me any word of advice. I am happy to invest about 200 - 300 Euro per rod (no more than that, I need two!).
Many thanks in advance,
Jan

The Penn PPT Jetstream(I think) is a 4 piece rod and reputably very good. Its going for excellent value at the moment aswell in some online shops.
Other options are a shimano 14ft one (4.5 m) which breaks into 7 pieces. a shakespeare salt travel beach, a Fox trek, veals have their own one, and a Fladen. These are all 5/6 pieces and about 12ft (3.9 m).
there are probably better options if you are able to stick with a 3/4 piece rod. :D

If I politely ask you, will you explain that to my girlfriend as well?
As in, .. I can't give her a lift on my way off fishing (not because she's always moaning and talking for herself in tackle shops).
;o))
