Kerry,Inch beach

#1 Post by MC »

People:me, brother,2xbrother in laws

Duration:2 trips on Inch, one bait and one spinning of about 5hours each

Tide: flooding

Weather:very windy on trip 1 and brilliant trip 2

Bait: er everything

Rigs: er everything i had again

Results:1xflounder @ 36cm

Report: well this family holiday didn't turn out as planned, was meant to be in Kerry for 10 days but got news that a good mate father had died so returned home early. Any fishing i did do was one night trip which resulted in one flattie to crab for the brother in law, the weather was bad with high winds and a lot of weed, not a good night. The next session to inch took place first thing in the morning at 6am with the in laws bait fishing and myself spinning and plugging, managed to snap off 2 times and lose the only kilty lures i had,all we got was two bites both to razor-fish which they missed. I had intended to spend a few days on my own as i had the wife permission to go on all day trips and explore the marks that where kindly passed onto me, but things don't always go to plan and i decided to return home to support a good friend, but don't worry lads i shall return and next time it will be a fishing holiday.

just one tip, don't drop your Mobile phone into the sea they don't go together
