Donegal

#1 Post by col »

Hi, I'm probably heading to Carrickfinn in Donegal in the next few weeks. Its by the airport :D in Donegal. Burtonport is also a consideration and less so Cruit.

Does anybody have any info at all on this area? Would really appreciate as much or as little info as possable. Transprt would be on my mountain bike/foot so looking for marks close by. Does anywhere on the beach fish well, wrasse, pollock spots close by?

Usually head to a different place in Donegal which is my highlight of the angling year so disapointed we're not heading back here. Had sussed out the area pretty well over the years finding places suitable for different wind directions, various species, techniques etc

Have to start from scratch now and it looks as if the type of fishing is limited. So, any help would be really welcome.
