Greystones 1st July

#1 Post by FintanMorrisson »

People:Myself & Mcgarvatron

Duration: 20.00 - 23.30

Tide: HT 00.30

Weather: Mild, a few showers, sea rough enough

Bait: Feathers, Spinners, Mackerel

Rigs: Various

Results: 4 Macs, 1 Dog

Catch and Release:: Yes/No, dog went back

Report: Fished Greystones south beach. Foul hooked a Mac on the first cast! Thought then that we’d be in for a mountain of em but only ended up with 4 after about an hour or so of spinning & using feathers. Fished with mac then after that & was a bit quiet. Loads of weed which didn’t help at all. Eventually got into a dog which put up a hell of a fight for the size of the thing. Enjoyable session & a good cure for the hangover if nothing else!
