A cool box or bag with lots of ice blocks. Most people don't use enough ice blocks.

Keep the rag in small boxes/trays with about 20 per box. This gives them space to move and for the cold air to circulate.

If you're looking for a small cool bag, I can recommend the IMAX one. It seems to be very will insulated. There are two sections, one main one and one in teh lid. On a hot day, I keep the main section closed with my stock of bait and use the top section for the bait that I'm actually using. This stops everything heating up. There is a compartment in the bottom for the ice blocks to keep them separate from the bait. This keeps them clean and seems to keep the temperature about right.

Hi folks,

Remember though not to have the worms come into direct contact with the worms, frozen worms don't seem to wriggle as well. A good quality peat ( slightly damp with seawater) or vermiculite is quite good, and I agree with 20 worms per tray.

Tight lines.
