No More Gorey

#1 Post by jd »

Seeing as so many Dublin based anglers fish the Wexford beaches I thought I'd stick this in the news section.

This is the last weekend that motorists will have to drive through Gorey, as the town will be bypassed from July 4.
Also, most of the Dual Carriageway sections on the N11 will soon have their speed limit increased to 120 km/hr according to the Indo

The Irish Independent has learned that it will will involve all of the dual carriageways on the main Dublin to Cork , Limerick, Galway, Wexford and Waterford roads.

You can't see me but I'm dancing a little jig here. It's not just the N11 itself. The back roads around Gorey have become very dangerous with people using them as rat-runs to avoid Main Street.

Roll on September when the remaining stratch from Arklow to the fruit farm is opened. No more planning my day around avoiding "Tractor Time" at Inch.

If only the Minister could get his act together and fill in the "Missing Link" between Rathnew and Arklow we'd be sorted ...
