howya lads,just seen has anyone fished the rocky outcrops round doolin lately.A few of us are heading down next weekend in the hope of a few pollock,wrasse and conger.Was thinking maybe ledgering for the wrasse and conger and spinning for the pollock but am at odds end to what baits/feathers to use for them :?: .Any tips/info would be great lads CHEERS :lol: :lol:

Hey Skip,
If you're looking for pollock and conger than try the pier. While standing on the end of the pier fish diagonaly out to your left with feathers and you will grap good ammounts of pollock. Using artificaal snadeel lures also work well. It's not unusual to catch 2 or 3 a cast there!
As for conger, use mackeral baits dropped just out from the pier.
I've never targeted wrasse down there before, but would reccomend a float rig with rag, lug, and squid baits.
Hope this helps. If nothing else you'll defo bag a few pollock off the pier with feathers.
