fished with JD and Seaniebo on the north beach. fishin was hectic for most of session. we had a few dabs and codling, as many whiting and dogs as you wanted(!) a tiny tope and a lone coalie. ground was a bit rough in close. baits where lug, rag, sandeel, mackeral, squid and crab. 3 hook flappers, clipped and bigger baits tried on pulley. no huss showed. or ray... or smoothound! fishing was pleasant enough with no rain and light wind. most fish came at 30- 100 odd yards. good session lads thanks for lettin me tag along. cheers. Sean and JD had a 'Mc Donalds' picnic on the beach... tough guys hah?!

It turned out to be a nice enough evening. The beach buddies were probably superfluous. I started off close enough to the rough ground hoping for a huss, but after watching the lads pick off the smaller stuff for about an hour I decided I needed to get Clonea outta my head. After that it was nice setady stuff, even if nothing too exciting turned up.
