Ill be heading down to limerick as a wee holiday with family during the summer, castleconnel i think to be precise??
As i have never been near limerick i dont know what the fishing is like or what you can catch??.....Is there any good marks near by?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :D

Castle connell is a bit in land so the estuary will be around a 50 minute drive to the marks. Theres a tackle shop in the village as the area is big game and pike/coarse fishery. There wouldn't be to much difference from here whether you fish the Clare or Limerick. Best to check out the maps and marks here:
