People: myself, corbyeire and handbrake(non sai member)

Duration:late session

Tide:over high and falling

Weather:northerly breeze

Bait:mackerel

Rigs:various

Results:myself: 2pollock and a mackerel and spidercrab
corbyeire: 3 pollock and an edible crab
handbrake: a mackerel

Catch and Release:: No..i kept largest pollock, and corby kept the crab

Report:
arrived with a few locals already mack bashing so we joined in... ended up getting a nice 3lbs pollock on second cast.. yummie... then a fresh mack.. as soon as it dropped dark we started off chucking lines out for bigger fish... nothing was playing ball.. corby got a nice sized edible crab approx 12".. which ended up being dwarfed by the spider crab i got...

i also lost a good sized conger 6-7lbs on extremely light gear...

those crabs were uber efficient - taking bait, hooks and all within seconds

dwarfed

like those supermodels - all leggy - no substance

god that crab was damn tasty! spinkled over a salad - no dressing required!

steve you know yourself - if you werent talking so much sh!te and concentrated - you would have landed that conger

good ol craic all the same - and the rain stayed away :) [/i]
