Bait:various lures and ragworm.
Rigs:light spinning setup and sliding float with the ragworm.
Results:20+ mackerel, loads of pollock and coalies and 1 wrasse.
Catch and Release:: kept the mackerel.
Report:promised myself i'd get a run down to ardglass and as usual i wasn't disappointed. i brought my light spinning rod and plenty of lures and tommy decided to floatfish with rag. i just couldn't stop catching with a stinger lure, great lure and cheap too! i honestly lost count of how many pollock and coalies i caught and the mackerel were great sport on my wee light spinning rod. i had two good fish on and lost them round the rocks.
they both felt heavy fish, maybe 4lb or so, but i just couldn't bully them with my light rod. the wrasse was caught at the end of the session on ragworm. fantastic days fun, ardglass never lets me down, can't wait to get back!
