north dublin bass marks

#1 Post by SKIP »

howya lads im planning a bass trip on either the 16th or 17th of this month and just seen if anyone has any input on north dublin bass marks or even as far as laytown.i generally hit wexford marks for bass but i have heard that n/dub beaches throw up the occasional silver bar.as im sure most anglers would like to fish on their doorstep rather than drive the 2 hrs to wexford marks.the little info i have on these beaches is to fish them on a rising tide.im a firm believer in catch and release so you can be sure that any info given would be appreciated on that basis.you can PM me if need be bout baits and venues.CHEERS LADS! 8)

i have never fished there but the area around Gormanston looks promissing. iv been told by a few sources that it holds a few bass an hour either side of low water. worth a shot as its only 20 mins from Dublin on the M1
