Bait: fake sandeel



Results:9 pollack, 1 of em 3 nd a half pounds nd luke caught 2 small pollack

Catch and Release:: Yes

went out to howth today cause of the lovely weather! spinned wit fake sandeel at first i didnt think it wud work but i was surprised! my first cast caught a nice not big pollack fished 4 awile until i landed the nice sized 1!! was a great buzz just out wit my mates nd ill b fishing it soon again

Thats some good fishing, Is the East pier popular with anglers?? I thought it was the west one everyone fished!!!

you pick up some nice fish sometimes on the east pier a m8 of mine had a monster pollack off it and another m8 of mine had caught a wrasse round half the length of his arm :shock: the funny thing was we where the only ones on the east pier and everyone else was on the west!!! :D yea everyone fishes the west pier and nobody fishes the east but the ting is the east pier throws up better fish!!! im not sure it said on the packet "wiggle ace pearl/black 10 cm 5pcs" i got them off my mate he said they should work and they do! cheers ian :wink:

I like the east pier. A few different marks on it depending what you're after and definitely better than the west pier or balscadden (shudder). A good mix of clean and rough ground. Beware the walkers though. :roll:
Sounds like a good session you had there aaron. Hope to get down there again soon.
