There are plenty of mackerel along this entire stretch of coastline. There were up to one hundred anglers in Rostoonstown the other night and everyone had bags of fish going home. A few decent bass of around the 5lb mark were taken at the Coombe all on big mackerel fillets fished at close range. The Safe in Rosslare Harbour is also producing good fishing with some mackerel, pollock & plenty of wrasse and pouting.
