bass on the rocks

hello everyone - I've arranged a trip over to the Emerald Isle at the end of September for some bass fishing on lures. Its my first time over and was wondering whether anyone could give am few pointers. I'll be staying in the Glandore/Union Hall area. Sorry for sounding so dense but new areas make me nervous!!

it's in west cork, on the coast between Clonakilty and Skibbereen

john hall has a nice online article (previously cited on this forum) at:

which is about lure fishing for bass in that region. He gives general advice more than specific marks but there are contact details there too if you wanted to give him a buzz.
