People:4 in all

Duration:1/7 pm

Tide:low 5.30ish

Weather:rough sea and rain

Bait:rag crab mack and squid

Rigs:various flowing/ pats / feathers

Results: dogs and more dogs and huss and smoothounds.

Report:seriously rough conditions today, but we have been caught out in worse.
we all managed to land a few fish. best fish on the boat were the hounds all touching around the 6lb mark biggest huss about the same. i think we were the only boat that got out on the east coast today. while we were out we heard the Stella Maris open was called off due to the weather.
we were not able to fish some of our usual spots,we had to fish quite close to the shore due to weather, well that's my excuse for a bad result

Thats not bad fishing given the weather you describe

If only smoothhounds were regular visitors in the shannon estuary!
