just taking up boat fishing,any advice on rigs and what size weights to use etc.do you need to have your own pesonal floatation device when hiring charter boats or do they supply them. :)

fetheres and 12oz weights are a good starting point for colefish and pollock changing too sliding booms and steel tracis for stuff like congers and topeling ect
