2 Dog fish, 3 wrase, and another

Report: Took the kids up for the first outing of the season, Peter caught a doggie on second cast on mackeral, then two cast later another one, both around the 2lb mark. Then Ryan caught two wrasse in real close. Then Peter caught something we did not recognise. It was a good day.

what did the fish u didnt recognise look like (nosey) :?

It was a rockling

Checked through the species list and we think it was a rockling, it had barbels on its head, and an eel like body and was red in colour.

Fished from 2.30pm until 6.30pm. Was quite a swell on the tide we had to stand very high up to avoid the waves.
