People:me

Duration:20.30 to 22.00

Tide:low

Weather:calm

Bait:rag,mack,sandeel

Rigs:3 hook scratching and spinning

Results:2 dogfish, 2 codling, 1 plaice, 2 coalfish

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:Headed down to Glenarm Breakwater, great evening sea was dead calm. Caught 2 coalfish of about 1lb with the spinning rod before a bigger one broke off in the weed. Scratching rigs accounted for a hand sized plaice and two tiny codling. As I was about to pack up rod bent over and i reeled in a huge dogfish. Two minutes later had another smaller dogfish together with a tiny codling. Great to catch a few fish at last even if mostly small.
