13/5/07 spiddle pier

People: myself and midget

Duration:1pm-4pm

Tide: coming in

Weather:dry...wery windy!

Bait:herring+mackeral

Rigs:3 hook flappers..+pullys

Results: midget: 1 pollack myself: short
spined sea scorpion + 3 bearded rockling

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:we arrived at the pier..was very windy and plenty of sand blowing at us! i put out two rods for congers and didnt get a bite. we got da fish over the side of the pier or a few yards out

Spiddal pier isnt fishing near as good as it used to. Have blanked the last 3 times I have fished there.

its the first time i fished there since last summer...wasnt even nearly as close to what it was last time i was there

it fished more or less the same the last day iwas there one sea scorpian and no congers
