Grauvell Fixed-spool Reels

#1 Post by Pyreneenguy »

I need to buy a new fixed-spool reel for salt-water spinning.
At the most, I only fish once or twice a year, so I don't want to
spend a fortune ( otherwise , I would buy a Shimano without hesitation). Have any of you guys bought a Grauvell 3500 ?
They look pretty good, but do they stand up to the harsh
environement of sea-water and rocks ? Any comments or recommendations greatly appreciated !

Thanks

Andy

I have one on order but its temp out of stock so wont have it for three weeks!! I can tell you what I think of it then maybe after giving it a whirl. They book good and strong, not too expensive and reviews are good. Hard to judge it without getting my hands on it but was happy enough with reviews and took a flyer on mail order!

I'd almost given up hope of receiving any replies !

I should have said that I only fish for a couple of weeks each year !

I'm sure it will be up to the job !

The Grauvell 3500 is about 80€ here in France.

This is the maximum I'd want to spend for a reel that's going to take a lot of punishment !
